Municipal Risk & Safety Consulting was built to serve public entities that need thoughtful, practical guidance on risk management, safety, vulnerability reduction, and operational preparedness. The firm helps clients identify preventable problems early, better protect public assets and facilities, strengthen safety and security posture, and make sound, defensible decisions that support continuity, resilience, and public trust.
Sean Feldmann founded Municipal Risk & Safety Consulting to help municipal utility districts and other public entities address real-world safety, security, and operational challenges through practical, experience-based guidance.
Sean began his public-service career in 2014 in emergency communications and entered law enforcement in 2016. He currently serves as a Deputy Sheriff in Central Texas and has experience supporting public safety operations, policy development, grant-funded initiatives, technology projects, and operational improvement efforts.
In 2024, Sean was elected to a municipal utility district board of directors and currently serves as Board President. His combined experience in public safety and district governance provides firsthand insight into the challenges public entities face, including infrastructure protection, security planning, risk management, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and community expectations
Municipal Risk & Safety Consulting was founded on a simple principle: public entities deserve practical solutions tailored to their unique operational realities.
